One concertgoer raved, “It was easy to hear how they won the 2009 Fischoff… For this listener, the highpoint was the 3rd movement of the Beethoven, superbly moving, with solemn passion. If this group is coming your way, run, don’t walk to buy a ticket.”
Additionally, the quartet performed outreach programs and master classes in locations throughout Indiana, Michigan and Illinois. Lavon Oke, Director of Orchestras at Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana, said, “The Linden Quartet, like so many recent groups, was exquisite at relating to younger players with encouragement and enthusiasm. My entire orchestra was on the edge of their seats for the performance. As they began to coach our own quartet, students were inspired to perform better and given a broader understanding to do so.”
