DESCRIPTION:Amo Brass performs an interactive musical retelling of a beloved children’s book at the St. Joseph County Public Library as part of Fischoff’s Stories & Music program! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFischoff’s S.A.M. I Am\, Stories & Music program\, reinforces the joy of reading through the power of music. Using music to crack open language and storytelling\, Fischoff Educator Award Winner Amo Brass will delight children and families with a musical adventure. \n\n11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Free\, all-ages performance in Leighton Auditorium \n12:00 – 1:00 PM: Hands-on activities\, book giveaway\, and meet-and greet in the Community Center Ballroom \n\n\n\n\n\n                    \n                        \n                        \n                    \n\n        \n        Join us to celebrate Mother’s Day with Fischoff’s Gold Medal Concert on Sunday\, May 14\, 2023\, at 4 PM at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center with performances by each of the Gold Medal Winners from Fischoff’s Junior and Senior Divisions. Enjoy world-class chamber music by some of best young chamber music ensembles from around the world. Acknowledge a special mother figure in your life with free flowers and a photo keepsake. Experience the two Senior Division Gold Medalists duke it out in one final play off for the Fischoff Grand Prize\, an award with a $15\,000 cash prize and more in tours and concerts. The concert is followed by a reception\, celebrating Fischoff’s 50th anniversary with desserts and drinks. The event is free and open to the public.
