SUMMARY:Lift Every Voice Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition’s annual Lift Every Voice Prize was created to celebrate historically underrepresented voices in the chamber music world. The 2024 Fischoff Lift Every Voice Prize is awarded to one Senior Division Strings ensemble and one Senior Division Winds ensemble for the best performance of a work by a historically underrepresented composer within the chamber music world. This year’s prize focused on performances of works by Asian\, Black\, Hispanic\, Latino or women composers. \nJoin us for this year’s Lift Every Voice panel discussion\, award ceremony\, performance\, and public reception\, marking the beginning of this year’s competition at the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts at Indiana University South Bend. \n6:00 PM\nDr. Kevin Kwan Loucks\, CEO of Chamber Music America\, will lead a panel discussion featuring Rochelle Sennet DMA\, Alfred J. Guillaume\, Jr. PhD\, and Dr. Marvin Curtis EdD. \n7:00 PM\nAwards ceremony and recital followed by a public reception. \n  \nThe Lift Every Voice Prizes are generously underwritten by: \nSenior String – $1500\nSponsored by Alfred J.
