DESCRIPTION:2024 Fischoff Competition Winds Gold Medal Winner LOTUS Quartet returns to the Midwest for their Gold Medal Tour. \nHailing from Arizona State University\, LOTUS Quartet\, comprising members GianCarlo Lay (soprano saxophone)\, Johnathan Lee (alto saxophone)\, Keegan Ewan (tenor saxophone)\, and Jerick Meagher (baritone saxophone)\, stands dedicated to exemplary performances and community engagement. Since their founding in 2022\, this ensemble has garnered acclaim for their performances and active involvement in the cultural landscape of the Phoenix community. \nThe LOTUS Quartet’s musical repertoire spans a diverse range of repertoire\, eliciting  joy among audiences and chamber music competition juries alike. Prior to winning the Winds Gold Medal at Fischoff’s 51st Annual Chamber Music Competition\, the quartet was awarded 1st Place in the 2023 MTNA National Chamber Music Competition and Grand Prize for Best Chamber Music Performance in the 2023 Arizona International Music  Competition. \nDistinguished by their seamless transitions across a spectrum of genres\, including classical\, jazz\, and pop\, the LOTUS Quartet is dedicated to forging a profound connection with their audience. Their mission extends beyond mere entertainment\, as they strive to create a remarkable and personalized experience for all who partake in  their musical journey.
