Begun in 1973, the
Fischoff Competition is now the largest chamber music competition in the nation, and the only with separate Junior and Senior Divisions. More than 4,000 musicians have participated. The 2010 Competition is scheduled for May 7-9.
In addition, the Fischoff proudly brings talented Competition ensembles back to our community to present free Arts-in-Education
residency and outreach programs. Since 1995, programs in schools, libraries and community centers have reached more than 43,700 children and youth.
